What am I trying to say?
Words have lost their way.
Filled with thoughts and words
so many seem absurd.

What am I trying to do?
Creativity is feeling blue.
Emotions trapped behind my eyes
So much to say but nothing wise.

What am I trying to state?
Too much to contemplate.
Jumbled words and mixed metaphors
How do they escape from behind closed doors?

What am I trying to be?
Good question but don't ask me
for at the moment I just don't know.
