To prolong the life of mankind

Is what Doctors and Nurses have in mind.

Working on his invention every night

One doctor separated blood cells red from white.

He wasn’t working on a cure for colds or asthma

But something new and special called Blood Plasma.

This new invention helped save the soldiers of World War Two

And if we’re in an accident

This doctor’s hard work might help save us too
