Artistically Inclined

An extension of yourself that you want to have accepted
Many pieces of you floating around
Maze upon maze of swirling, entangled leaves
replaced with lines and curves and mazes.

Take me into a space less complicated than where I am.
Help organize the constantly swirling thoughts in my mind. 
Calm me. 
Inspire me.
Make me happy.

I Let it loose upon society 
the creative side of me
despite the voices in my head

An extension of myself that I want to have accepted
Many pieces of me floating around
My artistic journey is just beginning to get off the ground

Breathe and Laugh

Returning to class has
opened up creativity once more.

The collage allowed my mind
an avenue in which to explore.

Possibilities for tomorrow
I hadn't known before.

Inner peace cries out
to be attained.

Requiring me to try
to empty my brain.

Continue forward
on this path.

And along the journey
remember to breathe and laugh.

Time to unwind
Time to let go
of the troubles on my mind

Time to think
Time to dream
Time make
plans of how to combine the two

Time to wait
Time to do
Time to know
what's right and true

Time to distinguish
which one and why

Where am I going?

What am I doing?

When will I get there?

How will it all begin?

When will it happen?

Who will it be?

How will I know?

What do I need to do?

Can I do it?

Am I capable?

Is it possible?

Will it work out in the end?

Are you listening?

Do you hear me?

What's going on?

Why did this happen to me?

Today

I make a leap of faith today
that everything will be okay
that this is just not fly by night
that my journey will now take flight.

Slide down a rainbow

and wind up in the stars.
A roller coaster journey
that takes you quite far.
