Today

I love you today;

for always today.

In every way,

I love you today.

Your forever can disappear.

Your tomorrow might not appear.

Your yesterday is all too clear

but your today is here.

I love you today.

What more can I say?

In every way

I love you today

Disappearing Days

I blinked and must have missed it

The time slipping away

I know the new year has just begun

but the days didn't pass

they seemed to run

First month

last day

Sky is blue

Not gray

Enjoyed each moment

in a special way

but how quickly we arrived

to today

Time slips into the the future

I think is a sneaky phrase

Slips, slides, slinks, strides

It moves in mysterious ways

First month

Last day

Sky is blue

Not gray

Enjoyed each moment

in a special way

but how quickly we arrived

to today

The pace has been set for this year

faster than lightning it appears

Blink and the days disappear

Take advantage of each moment you're here.

So Much

So much to say

so little time

corny words

cheesy rhyme

 Sad but true

It's how it is

What shall I do

imagine this

So much to do

so little time

Life feels brand new

You're on my mind

Glad that it's true

time's speeding by

Happy it's you

making time fly.

Another Day

Another day
Another chance
Another play
Another dance

This is the moment
This is the time
This is the music
This is the rhyme

Fill it with laughter
to last til the hereafter

Fill it with happiness
to keep out the loneliness

Fill it with hope
so with all we can cope

Fill it with magic
so life's not so tragic

Another day
Another chance
Another play
Another dance

This is the moment
This is the time
This is the music
This is the rhyme

Clandestine Moments

Clandestine event
Although it's not heaven sent
Sweet is it's intent.

We'll never tell of
Secret associations
needed to survive

Live in the moment
Think of nothing else but now
It's all we're allowed.
