I want

I want to write a poem that speaks volumes about life

I want the words to flow effortlessly from my pen

I want the mood to encompass the ultimate reality

I want the poem to be free of triviality

I want to do it justice

I want to serve it well

I want so much

I want, but oh well

Bodies Entangled On The Floor

Bodies entangled on the floor

feel the pressure nothing more

Discussions of what could be

Feeling pressure incessantly

Bodies entangled on the floor.

How did we meet?

How long has it been?

Conversations for old friends.

Kisses exchanged.

Parts rearranged.

Our returning feelings never seem strange.

I let my question go unasked

The answer I think is better off masked.

Don't really need to know,

Thought that I wanted to though;

Still the question I let go.

Just enjoying this moment in time

Surrounded by arms that will never be mine.

Bodies entangled on the floor

filled with passion but nothing more.

Sooner or Later

Dreams may be wishes

deep down in your heart

But do they really come true?

I believe they do.

but not today,

In some tomorrow

Not far away.

Dreams will be

Reality,

For me.
