in droid technology 

If there is a typo 

I will give an apology 

Trying out the toy

 to work out the kinks  

Not quite right 

 but I cant say it stinks 

My holiday away 

I can continue to play

As soon as i figure out 

how to make it all stay

Past, Present, Future

It's hard to stay in the present
when the past is determined to find you
It's as if every step you take
it over takes you by two.

What are you supposed to do
when you let it go but it holds on to you?
How do you get away
when you leave but it's determined to stay?

It's hard to find the future path
when the road block of yesterday
lasts and lasts.

Redirected focus and Flash
change direction and crash
Walked headlong into a blast from the past.

Is there something I need to see?
Is there a reason it's following me?
Is there a lesson yet to learn?
If so teach me so I can turn
my  different corner and be free.

Keep climbing
Keep going
Keep growing
Knowing
One day
yesterday
will leave
and
tomorrow
will be free
to be
the future
you know it can be.

Working for Vacation

Here's another day
Working for a little pay
So very tired

Vacation awaits
It's just a matter of days
Hurry, Hurry, Please!

When summer begins
Stressful reality ends
Bring on summer friends.

Lazy summer days
Concerts, museums and plays
Life's a purple haze

Not a word

Sprinklers Spray

Waning Moon

Trumpets Play

Lights Flicker

Sounds Fade

Toes Flex

Yawns are Made

Monday Morning

Woke up exhausted from over sleeping
Woke up aware that it begins again
Woke up feeling it's too soon to be here
Woke up knowing it must be done

Monday morning's rarely exciting
Monday Mornings tend to drone on
Monday Morning my system is fighting
Monday Morning where it all can go wrong

I'll take chaos for 18 points
It seems to be a game
Everything running smoothly
but then it all will change

Interrupted by reality
confused by the facts
trying a different personality
just to see who will react

gives way to June gloom
