Today I begin again.
Time to catch up
with an old time friend.

This person had plans.
This person had vision.
This person had
creativity and dreams.

She's been neglected
for far too long.
With a bit of  attention
She can grow strong.

It's time to renew our
past rapport.
There's so much we two
have yet to explore.

Open my eyes.
Open my heart.
To recapture this friendship
I must do my part.

Just when I think the end is in sight
There comes another bump around the bend.

Such hard work.
So much research
Proving you did more
than just your part
Just to get half of your share.

Listen to the Angels
is what I've been told
My cries have been heard
but it feels as if the answer's
taking forever to unfold.

So tired.
Will this truly be the end?
Just want it to be over
so we can begin again.
