The Cliche

The cliche is I was half
But now I'm whole.
I don't believe that's right.

You touch my soul
And light up my nights.
You help me reach my goals;
fill my days with delights.

You make me believe
All things are possible
And I do the same for you.

I don't need you
but I want you
as a part of my life.

You don't have to be  my husband
I don't have to be your wife.

The cliche is you complete me
But I don't believe that's right.
You enhance me is a better way
to keep a relationship in sight.

You make Me more me.
You make me happy.

You make me believe
All things are possible
And I do the same for you.

I don't need you
but I want you
as a part of my life.

You don't have to be  my husband
I don't have to be your wife.

The cliche is
for movies, for poetry, for books.
In this reality , for me it doesn't work.

You don't have to be  my husband
I don't have to be your wife.

I don't need you
but I want you
as a part of my life.
