Off to the races we all take part
Sometimes it's even done with heart
For our respective businesses it's time to depart
Whether or not we wish to start
Weekend relaxation a faded dream
Time to make a dollar the daily scheme
Fulfill the lack luster desires of the management team
Put on those smiles it's time they gleam
Working for the weekend until we find a better way
Working for the weekend long hours and short pay
Working for the weekend trying to make it day by day
Working for the weekend where we finally get to play
