Not inspired to create
even though I am awake
Weather makes me want
to stay in bed
No words are playing in my head
work is calling
but I want to ignore
responsibilities galore
Oh how my pillow
I do adore
but time for work
this one day more
Off I go into the damp
To work for pennies
as my pay
Off I go to earn my keep
can't wait til the bell rings
calling it a day
So home I can go
to begin to play
