A WORLD BUILT ON A MERRY-GO-ROUND

A world built on a merry-go-round

Is what I’m living on.

Round-n-round-n-round it goes

Faster then slower then faster again.

I wish it would slow down a bit.

I wish it would so much.

Life goes by quite fast enough

Without this added touch.

Be Prepared

It always pays to be prepared
of course in our youth we never cared
do what you like
when you like
that's what's to do
growing up is not for you

As you age you see the truth
in what was scoffed at in your youth
turn back time
we cannot do
for we'd see how much was true
in what we were told we had to do

Be prepared
don't be scared
to follow that advice
you'll see soon
how quick you change your tune
when you see  that this is wise
