Wearing Wings

I never drive while wearing wings
I put those on for finer things
like sipping tea with dragons
or waltzing with  wizards

I never drive while wearing wings
I put those on for finer things
Like climbing stairs with ice queens
or sauntering past stilt-walking goblins

I never drive while wearing wings
I put those on for finer things
like playing chess with mermaids
or conversations with courtesans

I never drive while wearing wings
I put those on for finer things
like photo shoots with pixies
or moonlit bubble blowing

I never drive while wearing wings
I put those on for finer things
like teasing guards with their own swords
or capturing creatures for rewards

I never drive while wearing wings
I put those on for finer things
like bravely facing elementals
or gazing in wonder at flying elves

Sipping tea or climbing stairs
Playing chess and Photo shoots
Fights with swords and trees with roots
Creative creatures and clever wares
Among their midst I'm without care
But drive with wings I'd never dare
