Heaved a Sigh

Last night 

the tension 

was quite high

but in the end

I heaved a sigh

not one of grief

but one of relief

as I once again

this country 

showed

it's capacity

for intelligent

choice

can grow.

Usually the 

lesser of

two evils

One of

the choices

this year

was quite

medieval

Fortunately

females

across 

the land

can still

proudly

take a stand.

I heave a sigh

A great big

sigh of relief

Once again

this country 

has shown

idespite the

factions

of idiots, 

It's

capacity

for intelligent

choices

Has cried

out 

through

many voices
