Sometimes it's too hard to do
take care of the tasks ahead of you
get up, go and get it done
even though you want to run
they'll still be waiting to get done.

going here and going there
trying to hold back the despair
when all you want's a comfy chair
Sometimes it's too hard to do
rise and shine and see it through
slap on your smiely face
get back in and join the race
soon you'll reach your happy place
