Then and Now

If I knew then what I know now
A thought we verbalise
right out loud
when moments occur we can't control
when we fulfill our ultimate goal
when we realize what needs to be
when our eyes focus
and finally see.
That's the difference between then and now
and yet for some reason
we wonder how
to bring the then into the now
to turn the now into the then
to change the road which we've taken
time and time and time again.
