Today I write because I can
Today I state proudly I am
I am proud
I am wise
I am happy as I am
I am me
I am free
to make mistakes
and fix them too
I am young
I am old
I am certain
that I don't know
I am here
I am clear
I am boldly going to go
Today I write for my own soul
Today I flourish because I know
Today is one of many more
Today I am
