Trials and Tribulations
I've had to subside
Throughout this journey
no way to coast or to glide
There have been moments
my hands have been tied
but through it all
I have faced it with pride.
I am here
Doubts and longings
have filled up my mind
All of these burdens
I must leave behind
Following a path of
my own design
I know that my world
cannot be confined
I am here
Crazy but not dumb
I am here
my feelings aren't numb
I am here
My path is not clear
but I can honestly say
without fear
I am here
